Sumitomo Chemical is a leading Japanese manufacturer of APIs and Advanced Intermediates for supply to the global pharmaceutical industry. Based upon our own state-of-the-art technology platform, highly sophisticated quality assurance system, and our experience in regulatory services, our mission is to provide the best integrated service to customers, as a supplier of pharmaceutical chemicals.
For APIs and Advanced Intermediates, Sumitomo Chemical has three main production sites in Japan. In these sites, our manufacturing facilities are constructed and operated in accordance with cGMP and regularly inspected by FDA. With our flexible production network, robust risk management and reliable scale-up technology, Sumitomo Chemical can offer a stable supply of APIs and Advanced Intermediates to customers.
Headquartered in Japan, Sumitomo Chemical has a sales office in Europe facilitating technical transfer and project management. This network enables us to work closely with our customers around the world. In addition, our European office has its own cGMP warehouse in Brussels, so that we can offer our lean-supply management to European customers upon their request.
By investing continuously in the development of novel synthesis methodology, Sumitomo Chemical also supports our customers’ process development work and provides a competitive advantage to them throughout their products’ lifecycles.
